"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Very nice house in a pretty village, with a pattisierie and boulangerie round the corner Lots to do nearby, we visited the chateau and the zoo amongst others. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Happy to recomend :)"

"Overall we quite enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a very central location in the old town. Its close to the castle, shops and restaurants and also 10 - 15 minutes walk from the train station. There are parking spaces outside the apartment but you are very lucky to fine one! However, free spaces are close by so not a problem. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, glasses etc. My main comment is that the bathroom needs abit of a refurbishment and attention.The area around the bath...

"The property is great. A few unexpected things. The Lock box is a 10 minute walk from the train station up hills with luggage then you have to go back down and go 15 minutes the other direction to the property. The property door is rust not the red one. The building stairs are not for someone who can’t carry luggage up old stairs. Great for us as we took carry on luggage only but if you are older or have knee issues be warned it’s 3 flights up. We liked our stay and location could not have been...

"An amazing stay at a wonderful chateau. The apartment was decorated beautifully and tastefully in keeping with the chateau, which is a magnificent building in a wonderful setting. The hosts were so very very helpful, showing us around, helping with our luggage and even returning to show us how to use a couple of items we couldn’t work out. The apartment was quiet and comfortable with all the modern conveniences needed. One of the best stays in France we have experienced."

Place dans la zone piétonne il bénéficie d’un calme extraordinaire tout en étant à quelques minutes à pied du centre de Blois de son château ou de la maison de la magie ! "Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts."
