"We enjoyed our stay at Crossways, the staff were friendly and polite however we had to draw attention to the room being dusty and the shower not working properly. They were very apologetic and cleaned the room immediately, however it was a weekend stay with no maintenance workers so we had to make do with the shower. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The free breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was enjoyable and not overpriced. I found it difficult to use the Rolec EV chargers...

"Stayed just one night, also had drinks at the pub, easy access to Sherborne town centre, wheres plenty of shops, bars, cafes,Restaurants. Free parking if you are staying in hotel, for 24 hours. Register your car at reception. Had bath&shower which im happy to have. Clean,and very white bedding and towels, hangers, tea making facilities. . Comfortable bed. Staff i came into contact with were very nice. Would stay again next time im visiting friends in Sherborne. "

"We arrived and the host showed our room ,on the small side , duvet very warm ! Only noise we heard were from other guests rooms , doors banging and noisy fans . Pub very quiet , we were only patrons in the bar ! Friendly owner , breakfast adequate , stayed here as we were exploring other towns nearby , good parking spaces "

"The front of house staff are wonderful. A lovely welcome from Jenny on check in. This is a lady who has mastered hospitality. Evening staff are almost as good making for a great experience. Room was great apart from the yappy dog next door! Overall, recommended."

"It’s very nice, if you can find it. On Sunday there are no buses into Poundbury so you have to walk through the development. There’s minimal signage and few people around to get directions. The B&B itself is quite nice and my room,#8, was quiet with a view for miles over the countryside. Ideal location to catch the local bus to Lyme Regis."

"Chosen as it was close to Longleat, parking was off site but easy walking distance, had evening meal and breakfast, both of which were cooked well and used locally sourced ingredients. The pub is made up of lots of small rooms, mainly off the main corridor which gives it a quirky feel. Would recommend and would use again."

"The rooms were very clean and set up for tea/coffee making with fresh milk in the fridge. Brilliant hair dryer in the room too and powerful shower in the bathroom which was spotless. The staff gave us a very warm welcome. We dined in the pub which has an extensive menu choice including a small appetites menu. The food was excellent, very well presented and tasty. Would highly recommend dining here. "
