An authentic stone oven and BBQ area complement the outdoor living space, which includes a lounge beneath a bougainvillea-covered stone arch overlooking the lush garden and forested hills beyond.
Inside, the villa features custom-built furnishings by local craftsmen, with spacious, airy rooms that are both elegant and cool. Every room offers captivating views of the forest or the sea.
Located in the unique village of Hisarönü, the property benefits from a constant, gentle breeze and a truly authentic atmosphere—complete with charming local restaurants, traditional shops, and a vibrant market selling fresh, local produce.
I’m proud to share that my villa has consistently received all five-star reviews from our wonderful guests over ten years. However, due to a current technical issue on the Vrbo platform, not all of these reviews are visible at the moment.
Rest assured, Vrbo’s technical team is aware of the issue and is actively working to resolve it. I appreciate your understanding and am happy to answer any questions you may have or share feedback from my previous guests in the meantime latest below:

The perfect villa. The perfect holiday
We had the most perfect stay in this gorgeous villa. It had everything we needed and more. The gardens are beautiful and the pool is stunning. Air conditioning in all the bedrooms was very welcome as it gets hot in the day. There's lots to do in the surrounding area which is utterly stunning. The sunsets from the upstairs bedroom were breathtaking. We cannot recommend this villa enough. It was charming and welcoming and ticked every box. We'll be back!

Quiet Getaway
This is a beautiful house and garden, tucked away in a mountainous and rural area about 40 mins outside of Marmaris. You definitely need a car for local food shopping, excursions and eating out. However, the kitchen is well appointed for creating meals, with everything you could need. The lovely nooks around the garden are great for large parties, so everyone can find a chilled space to hang out if they don't want to lie by the beautiful pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here with our older teenage (18yrs and 16yrs) children. It was a very relaxing experience for all of us.

Hisaronu Gem
Our 4th stay in this low-key area of Turkey and what a treat the villa was. So stylish and sophisticated with outdoor areas for every need. The garden was out of this world, being an avid gardener myself I was overjoyed to walk around each morning taking in its splendour. Such a treat of a place. I’d return in a heartbeat…… I absolutely loved everything it had to offer including the very sociable Minik the villa’s cat. Many thanks for sharing this joyous place.

Villa Ayfer
We have just come back from a 2 week holiday at Ayfer’s villa. We have been to Turkey a few times and this is the most beautiful villa we have ever stayed in. The house itself is big and more than big enough for 6 of us. It has charm and every room is unique with its own collection of art and craft collected by Ayfer over years. It is also a working villa, comfortable and a fantastic kitchen equipped for the most keen cook. There are so many different seating areas for everyone to have their own space. The garden/pool area is sublime. Flowers, shrubs shady seating areas and the most fantastic pool which has the sun all day, deep enough to dive and big enough to swim lengths. This is NOT your usual holiday villa, it’s very special. The area is very rural and secluded, not overlooked or touristy at all. We drove back to this little bit of heaven very quickly after a trip to Marmaris which we found very touristy and grim. We had our teenagers with us and it was very quiet for them. They would have enjoyed a bar walking distance, there is nothing. We had a car and explored the area thoroughly. We found it difficult to find a decent beach and they are very polluted with rubbish and plastic waste. Ayfer gave us a list of secluded beaches which were lovely But the villa more than made up for it. I can’t recommend the villa enough. A car is a must and don’t try and find it on the dark. Thank you for having us Ayfer ,

A truly peaceful villa holiday
The house is well proportioned with plenty of living space inside for a large group and there were many places outside for all of us to gather, or for each person to have some quiet time. The gardens are stunning, the host very helpful, and we particularly loved the absence of any signs telling you what you could and couldn't do! The villa location is great, as it is at the quiet end at the edge of the village and is not overlooked at all. We walked to collect bread every day but in the summer heat we drove to the shops, sea and restaurants which were all close by. Highly recommended - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Huge villa in beautiful gardens
We wanted somewhere away from the over-developed resorts to comfortably accomodate 5 adults for 10 days and Villa Ayfer was perfect for us. This isnt some anonymous holiday rental - you know you are sharing in the decades of love and attention Ayfer has put into this villa. It felt like a home from home. Whilst the house is spacious and homely, you dont actually spend much time in it as the outside spaces, pool area and surrounding gardens are so wonderful. The villa is above the village of Hisaronu. You need a car to explore the amazing countryside and rugged coastline. As other reviewers have said, finding it in the dark can be challenging the first time - so make sure you have clear directions and have reviewed Google maps properly if you plan on arriving after sundown! There are a couple of small supermarkets within 5 mins drive and a bakery less than 5 mins walk down the hill. The kitchen is wll equipped if you want to cook your own meals - we ate out most lunchtimes and every evening. There is a wide variety of places to eat from cheap 'pide' restaurants to more upmarket beach-side restaurants. Ayfer was on hand to provide lots of useful advice and tips on where to go. We loved driving out to Selimiye but the best day we had was a full day boat trip on Mehmet's boat 'Moonlight' (Moonlight4848 on Instagram, he speaks English) Mehmet looked after us all day, taking us to some beautiful coves. I strongly recommend him.

Glorious
Smitten by the beautiful house, in particular the garden where we spent so much of our time by the perfect-for-diving pool, amongst the lantana, oleander and seas of pale blue plumbago. We loved the chorus of sounds across the valley and the considered spots around the house and garden, to be together, read in peace, in the heat or shade, watch the sun rise, and set. Very much hope to return.
