"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"

"The tower was absolutely beautiful and very unique, the craftsmanship was phenomenal and it was a lovely place to stay for a night. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool or other facilities but the owner Louise was very nice and the menu offered sounded delicious, although I ended up just getting some fresh eggs from the chickens on the grounds. It seemed really well situated and all in all we couldn't fault it, although my one comment would be that a small air conditioner upstairs would be...

"Naomi's gite in Montreal was perfect for my needs and Naomi was kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds. The gite is spacious and well-equipped; Naomi has outfitted the kitchen to enable guests to do their own cooking. The village of Montreal is tres petite and charming, but has no grocery store to speak of, so...

"A charming and well equipped house in a beautiful and peaceful village. We loved getting fresh croissants from the bakery in the morning, and sitting on the terrace as the sun set after a busy day sightseeing in the surrounding towns and countryside. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. A truly relaxing break."

We used the outside table for several al fresco dinners of 20, and we used the inside tables at both properties for meals also seating...

Die Schlafzimmer geschmackvoll und mit guten Matratzen ausgestattet. Der Garten ist riesengroß mit einer Schaukel und einer Tischtennisplatte. Wir waren rundherum begeistert!!"

"Secluded countryside location, excellent (and genuinely private) pool which was kept at a consistent and comfortable temperature - plus the cover meant it could be used in cooler or rainy weather. Our hosts were just the right balance of welcoming and helpful but not intrusive, once we were settled in we were left to our own devices which is just how we like it. The property had lots of space and all essential amenities and the surrounding area was picturesque and quiet. We'd love to revisit one...
