"The hotel is in need of refurbishment to say the least the bar area was disgusting seats broken only bottles as pumps not working and dirty glasses infact the hotel should be condemned. The only saving grace was the staff and the breakfast the staff were polite,friendly and helpful especially Annie who made breakfast service a pleasure. Disappointing that hotels.com have this on there web site as im sure if they sent an inspector they would not recommend this hotel I for one will not be...

Unbeatable location!

"Beds were very comfortable. Hotel was clean and quiet at night. Friendly staff. The location is unbeatable, if you want to stay where all the action is. Every attraction is within walking distance, with a plethora of cafes, and restaurants right at your doorstep. "

"First time staying at a Virgin Hotel. Unusual room layout, walking into the bathroom. Though the room was very comfortable and the amenities and staff at the hotel were excellent. Can’t ask for a better location just around the corner from the Royal Mile. I would highly recommend this hotel and location."
