"I had not realized how beautifully located The Gresham is to old town Leicester. The Gresham could use some refurbishing (hall carpets as an example) however, the ambiance was perfect for me. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast each day was delicious with reasonable selections. My room was quite cozy and comfortable. I have other trips planned from the US to Leicester and I will always book The Gresham for my stay. Overall, it was perfect for my needs. "

"I’m not one to write a review unless the service is really awful. I would not recommend this place at all. Firstly we booked a double bed and sofa bed room for 3 people, and when we arrived we were given a room with only one double bed. Then when we tried to contact them to resolve this issue, both through messages and Expedia, they did not respond or come to resolve the issue. I paid lots of money for a room with 2 beds just to receive 1. Doesn’t even have adequate kitchenware to cook with and...
