Vor allem aber ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis was die durchgehende - und nicht nur vordergründig gespielte - Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals betrifft. Schon ewig nicht mehr einen Aufenthalt gehabt, wo eine solche herzliche Freundlichkeit so toll erlebt wurde. Vielen Dank auch dafür. "

The rooms were all different and comfortable, and the dining room and great hall / game room areas were perfect for our group of 13 to hang out and have a few drinks while the kids playing a couple of games of pool. The host, Alex, was wonderful to talk with and contributed to the overall welcoming experience we all had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering...

"This was the worst hotel i've ever stayed at. There was NO air conditioner in the rooms, NO refrigerator, room cleaning every other day. The front desk said they would bring fans ot cool the rooms, never did. Breakfast buffet lacking "

"Tolles Hotel mit schönen großen Zimmern in sehr ruhiger Lage. Hier kann man wirklich mal entspannen. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön mit einer preislich gehobenen Küche wobei man aber auch bedenken muss, ob man bereit ist, für winzige Portionen diese Preise zu bezahlen. Mir kam es zu übertrieben vor auch wenn die Qualität gestimmt hat. Als Gastgeber würde ich mir die Besucher die eben genau aus diesen Gründen nicht im Hause Essen, nicht entgehen lassen wollen. "

"What a crazy funny hotel! We wanted a little break from Berlin, something close and unique. The grounds were interesting to wander, and the pool was spacious and peaceful. The rooms were a bit small and room service was limited to only 4 items plus LOTS of alcohol. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed our stay!"
