Spacious Cabin in the Woods
The biggest perk is the size of the home - very spacious, well decorated with the nature theme, and a small outdoor space. It is in a remote location, so being comfortable with country roads is important and your cell service provider may not work. Very peaceful, beautiful nature and a sky full of stars. And it was clean enough.

This is a quiet location in a beautiful area. I would recommend arriving before dark as the roads in are a little difficult to locate in the dark.

Significant smell in house
Overall, the house was clean but….trash/garbage had piled up in attached garage area and was quite smelly. Also, food had been left in garbage disposal and had rotted. That smell was terrible. We tracked that odor down, flushed the disposal and resolved that smell. None of the soap dispensers had been filled in the 2 showers so there was no soap to bathe with. We went out and bought some soap. We were able to contact Jeff, our host, and he tried to get the problems taken care of with his housekeeping service but was unsuccessful. It was quite frustrating and put a cloud over our stay on the property. Would we stay there again, probably not?
