"I visited Mariposa with my husband and daughter, and this was a great starting point for our trips to Yosemite. It's more or less equidistant from the west and south entrances to the park. The kitchen was a little light on items, but we made it work - you're not really cooking a 4-star meal when you're on vacay anyway. Vicki was great in offering some suggestions for what to do and see in the park. Overall a great trip and I'd recommend this place to anyone! "

Read reviews about stained carpets, but was pleased to see this has been updated to laminate flooring throughout. Cleanliness was generally great, however the base mattress protector on the bed was stained and could do with cleaning/replacing. "The property was amazing .. we fished everyday . Rented a boat and having a private dock was super helpful. The property is close to city and close enough to Yosemite. "I was a little worried after seeing some negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! This cabin had everything we needed and the whole process was very smooth and easy. I think 4 people would be very tight, but it worked perfectly for the two of us. We cooked both nights and even though the appliances are older everything worked great. Being inside the park was nice too so we didn’t have to worry about Yosemite reservations and lines getting in. Thanks for a lovely stay!"
