"It was perfection! The most picturesque view! Kids (5 & 6 yrs) were able to easily walk down stairs to the beach and then catch the shuttle bus back up to the room. Lovely market next door (with the kindest staff) meant we could cook for the kids, get them to bed early and enjoy a bottle of wine and antipasto patter on the balcony in the evenings to soak up every minute with that view. Mauro and the housekeeping staff at Palazzo Margherita were so kind, helpful and hospitable. Worth the splurge...

"Property is as listed. Property manager, Luca, was totally awesome! He was very responsive and helpful. Arranged an in villa cooking class and dinner for us on our last night. Amazing. Know that you have to walk a lot of steps to and from town unless you’re willing to wait for a shuttle bus reasonably close by. If you have knee issues, it should be a consideration, but the view was worth every step! Thank me for the opportunity to stay here!"

The walk down to the unit does have some steps so be aware if you have heavy bags/suitcase. The house is very clean, has a very nice kitchen and bathroom, and the bed is so comfy! Beautiful view too! "Comfortable apartment with a serviceable kitchen. No microwave and little hot water for dishes. The shower had hot water. Washing machine is old and rusty on outside and the door doesn’t fully open because of the bidet. Just be careful using it. It does clean! Smart TV in bedroom only. Quiet location. It’s an easy stroll into the town center, train station and port, but a decent climb back up! We were very comfortable in the apartment. Salerno is great for day trips to Amalfi, Paestum...
