"This property should never be offered for rent. Our lives were in danger just driving up the narrow roads to arrive at the property. Once we finally did arrive we returned to the base of the mountain extremely stressed without staying the night. VRBO should not be representing this property nor should any other broker of rentable properties."

"Le Lunghe beat all imaginable expectations: the house is wonderfully functional with dishwasher, washer and dryer and everything else you would need for a perfect stay. "Beautiful location, restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of stairs on the property. Had a toy room and playground that our toddler loved. Easy to take the bus to Riomaggiore (10 min ride, 2.50 Euro per person)"

"Nice apartment with balcony and seaview and all necessary amenities. Excellent breakfast available. A steep walk to the beach or into town, but good private parking for a car. "

"Great view seaside view with the calming sound of the waves breaking onto the shore. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in setting us in and providing recommendations for our travel around Cinque Terre. Room is simple but cozy. Everything works but the air conditioner definitely needs some cleaning/servicing."

"This was an excellent choice for a place to stay in La Spezia. I am so happy that i booked this hotel. The decor was modern. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Even the people staying at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast was great as well amd had a good variety of food to choose from. The room was comfortable and I had a huge balcony. I love being near clock towers and this room didn't disappoint! It is walkable to the train station and just about everything else in La Spezia. If you need a place to stay, The Poet Hotel is it! For the people who talk about the strong fragrance, this is a large reed diffuser that is located in the stairwell. It was noticable outside the room, but definitely not in my room. "
