Excellent apartment in great location.
Lovely new apartment in the marina with everything you need for a short or long stay. 15 min stroll from the airport if you want to experience walking across the runway.
Apartment well equipped with underfloor heating, heated towel rails, washing machine, iron and board etc etc. Comfy beds and great showers. Great views of airplanes landing and taking off from the balcony.
Only negatives I would comment on is that check in was confusing. You have to walk to an office in town to pick up the keys. This is ok if you know beforehand, as we waited on the marina for check in instructions, thinking it would be a key safe code at the property. Its only about a 15 min walk to the office, however this could be a problem if you are less mobile. Also if I hadn't have asked what the outer door code was when collecting the keys I wouldn't have been able to access the block.
Secondly we were disappointed that the roof terrace was closed by the maintenance team. This is where the gardens and pools are located. So check this out as it does look amazing on the roof, but no good if you can't use it.
Finally the owner needs to replace the pans used for cooking. The apartment is hi-tec and has an induction hob. The current pans will not work with a induction hob. This wasn't a problem to us as we ate out mostly but I did notice this when I tried warming something up one day.
All in all definitely stay there again.
