"It was a very well decorated cabin. Even had a lighted Christmas tree inside when we walked in. Cleaning needs to be addressed if they want a higher rating. Very dusty everywhere. Bedroom floor had to be swept. Bedroom sheets were brown & hair on them. Had to ask for more wash cloths as we only had 4 for two adults for a 5 might stay. The road at night is dark so be sure to use your speedometer to know where to turn. Other than that accommodations were cozy & co"

"It was probably the best cabin stay I ever had. I am doing cabin vacations since many years. The owner family really took care of in a very natural and warm way. The cabin was very clean and directly facing the lake. And they gave me a few of their own farmland chicken eggs. I had five wonderful days!"

"If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It reminded me of going to my grandmother's house in South Alabama as a kid. We had everything we needed for a base camp on our hunt, and you can enjoy the multitudes of wildlife to view around the property. The house was well appointed and maintained. "

"This is very unique property. The pictures seem like you are camping alone, but they are all together in a compound. We stayed in the Safari tent and LOVED IT! The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of their family land. We want to come back and spend more time and cook in the community kitchen. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous...
