"Three friends and myself stayed at this very tasteful cabin on the river. While we didn’t get to enjoy the true beauty of the scenery in the balmy 15* snowy weather, you could tell the outside setting would be very nice to sit back and enjoy. The cabin is well stocked with anything you would need for a getaway. The cabin is very nicely furnished and the roku tvs in every room was an added bonus. To be honest, after all day hunts in the National Forest, all you want to do is shower, eat dinner...

"We had such a great stay!! Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Shower water was hot! Clean and cute RV. Host had heat going so it was nice and warm when we arrived. They really thought of everything from fire wood to coffee! I will definitely be going back!!! "

"My wife and I are vendors at a local event and try to stay in locally owned B&Bs as well as VRBO establishments rather than hotels. This property was one of our favorites. It was exactly what was advertised, off the beaten path, quiet and relaxing. The owner was fantastic with communication and the place was very clean and inviting. I highly recommend it. "Everything about our stay at Brittany’s cabin, from booking through checkout was great! She is a great host and communicator. This cabin was just adorable and perfect for us and our two young grandchildren. The location is very convenient to Marrienville for access to stores and some nice restaurants (Bettina’s italian was great!). It ia about a 15 drive to the state park, so really close. "Initially I was feeling disappointed because this cabin backs up to the road and there is a big white house across the street so it didn't feel as woodsy as i hoped, but it was actually a very quiet road and we enjoyed having a camp fire in the yard. The cabin was not unlocked but Brittany came right over and let us in.over and let us in. "
