‘Banyandah’ is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘home on the water’ and if you stay you will know why. This architecturally designed, family orientated home is situated across the road from the stunning Margaret River, joined by tall trees and wildlife. It offers superb accommodation for up to 8 people in a quiet and exclusive pocket of quality built homes.
The design is spacious and modern equipped with all the comforts you would expect from a quality home; Smart TV, free Wifi, Chef’s kitchen including an ice making double fridge, large oven, dishwasher, a custom built Jarrah island breakfast bar and sleek stainless steel kitchen benchtops. There is a King bedroom, two Queens and two king singles all wonderfully private and welcoming. The deluxe King room ensuite bathroom has a double vanity, open double shower and separate toilet. It includes a superb egg-shaped bathtub perfectly positioned alongside a private courtyard with deck overlooking the forrest, so the door can be left open to create the sense of being outside with nature.
The spacious open-plan design of the communal living areas are separated by a custom built fireplace – the centrepiece of the living area and a must for cosy winter nights.
Banyandah enjoys enviable access to the river for swimming, stand up paddling, kayaking and canoeing. Alternatively, why not walk or mountain bike along the old pine trails and the river to the Rotary Park, where you can join the rails to trails or simply enjoy all the town has to offer. Its an easy 20 minutes stroll or 5 minute drive to the town centre.
All rooms in the house are of outstanding quality with brand new furniture. There is even a sand pit and wooden toys for the children to play with in the large, fully fenced grassed backyard. The crisp white linen, fluffy towels and thoughtful amenities will add to your Margaret River holiday experience. No school leavers bookings please.
The house is made of rammed earth and is consequently very energy efficient. When its cold the fireplace acts to warm up the whole house and their are heaters in the bedrooms if this isnt enough for you.
The owner purchases energy certificates so that Banyandahs electricity consumption is carbon positive meaning the property offsets more than it consumes. This represents about 10.71 tonnes of CO2 that is saved each year.
