Cibolo Creek Ranch is about 40 minutes south of Marfa, nestled in a dramatic Texas mountain valley. A restful retreat near Marfa, and a great gateway to Big Bend country.

I am a sculptor and we visited Marfa to see the Donadl Judd Foundation, which was excellent. There are some good restaurants and interesting people to meet, but on a winter day it is bleak as Hell.
