"Sadly, our stay was not what we expected as the reality did not match the facilities and information given on Hotels.com. Positives - Our room (Rabelais) was quiet, clean and attractive. Negatives - We had great difficulty finding the very rural property using the address given and had to ask locals for directions, twice. (The hostess admitted the address was wrong.) "Great house, which had everything we needed for our stop over on our journey to Bordeaux. Plenty of space for the children, and a good sized garden. Everything we needed for our over night stay. Including coffee, milk, towels, and amenities within driving distance. Smooth check in, greeted by the owner, we were a little early so he was putting up the cot bed we needed for our daughter, which gave us chance to chat a little. Thank you for letting us stay. :)"

"Le Moulin Bregeon offers a unique opportunity to stay in a converted water mill. Much thought and attention to detail went into the decor and restoration. It's off the beaten path and can be a challenge to find so prepare beforehand as it was not listed in our GPS. It is also a long distancel to the nearest city and popular sites. "

"Nous avons passé un très bon week-end pour l’anniversaire de mon conjoint , entourés de notre famille proches et amis proches . Les deux gîtes sont grands et permettent d’avoir l’espace suffisant.
