The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Won’t stay at this house again.
All in all, the house was ok. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The dock is nice. Location is amazing, we love Marco island. However, on day two of our stay we had a man just walk into the home WHILE I was sleeping. He was there to exterminate. Which is fine, I understand they have a job to do. But just walking through a door where guests are staying is not ok. Not under any circumstances. We contacted the rental property and they said “we will look into it” and we never heard another word from them. Just for this fact alone, we will not stay at this home again. I don’t know how he even got in, as all doors were locked.

Great time!
We really enjoyed our stay here. You can’t beat the view off the living room to the pool to the canal. The house is older so it has its quirks- old showers, old mattresses, and laundry in the garage. But it is super kid friendly. Our girls loved the toys in the garage! We loved being close to Isle of Capri. We stayed for 2 weeks and were done with the beds but they are doable. The kitchen is well stocked but if you want to cook at home just bring a good knife. bring your blender if you do smoothies daily. Bring your own beach chairs. We would rebook this house again!

Lots of short comings, not worth the price paid
This house was stocked well with everything we needed for a vacation with our 4 & 6 year old:great pool, well set up kitchen, oversized washer and dryer, plenty of gas for the BBQ,pretty decor, plenty of clean towels and bedding, cold AC. However... -Terrible experience with Vacasa management company. The water heater was not working, so there were no hot showers or hot water to wash dishes with. We had crying kids when we were trying to get them clean before bed. We contacted Vacasa and they assured me that "someone local" would contact me. I was never contacted. Followed up and still had no answer, no hot water. -We paid over $200 to have the pool heated for our stay, but I don't know what the temperature would have been if we didn't. The water was still pretty chilly. -Someone knocked on our door at 8am the first morning to let us know the power would be off for 4 hours because of construction across the street. It was turned off and then every single day, except for Easter Sunday, they were hammering large cement foundation pieces into the group starting at 8am! It shook the ground at around 90 decibels- no relaxation in a community that has a 24 hour noise ordinance! I took videos of this. -No internet for the first couple of days. Again, was told by Vacasa someone local would contact me. I was never contacted and the Internet just magically started working 24 hours later. -The temp gauge on the BBQ did not work. -Back slider doors are old, fall off the track

Dollar Tree vs Biltmore
Home is in a beautiful setting - circle drive was perfect for parking & view of the canal was awesome. First issue was getting into the house - key code provided was incorrect - the key pad on the lock itself is broke which requires using a lock box - after 40 minutes and a call to the management company we received the "correct" code - were told "someone dropped the ball and did not call you back with correct code" -also two overflowing trash containers. The home is vintage 1960 with a large front room and three bedrooms. If you are a larger person or handicapped, the bathrooms would be a possible issue - sliding shower doors are dated, need attention - also, no grab bars in the showers to assist with getting in or out. Also, no exhaust fans but one does have a heat lamp. Kitchen furnished with a mix match of dollar tree plastic items - had to wash all utensils, dishes, pans etc as they were not clean. Also, dishes provided cannot be used in microwave so be sure to bring paper plates. Fridge doors are out of adjustment and will hang open if you are not careful. Ants everywhere in kitchen - common problem that can be taken care of with bug spray. Recommend you bring all paper products and towels, some provided but not enough for more than a couple days - condition of towels is less than acceptable. Cleaning BBQ is your responsibility - if the previous visitors do not clean it, you will have to before using - exactly what we had to do - however, we did leave it cleaned after our use. Only one working light on back porch. The inside furnishings are a hodge-podge of items that are not the best quality and some are questionable - do not expect to lay in bed and watch TV - the one provided is the size of a computer monitor - sits haphazardly on the dresser in the master bedroom. Again, the neighborhood is beautiful - the pool area is what sells the rental - beautiful layout with plenty of seating area - lights in the pool change colors - we fished off the dock. The items mentioned could easily be corrected which will give a 5-star rating... for us, we did enjoy the stay but for the price paid, we expected more than "Dollar Tree" furnishings! Also, if you want the pool heated, you must pay for it 48-hours in advance...

Super good location! Everything was as described. Pool was fantastic. The complaints I have would be the kitchen utensils. If you plan on cooking, bring knives. Sharp and steak knives. Luckly for us, we had filets and lobster, but cutting potatoes was a challenge. The pans were good, but the teflan pans need replacing. The king size bed needs something. You sink down into a huge hole and literally have to lift yourself up just to turn. If you sleep with a fan, bring one. We ended up downloading an app for noise. Bathrooms were stocked well with towels and toilet paper. I would suggest bringing more paper with you. (Hence, sandpaper). During our check out time, the bug man came. That should be scheduled after check out. Several of the windows and doors were left unlocked when we arrived. We just assumed that is how the owner wants it, so we left them unlocked as well. Other than that, it is a quiet neighborhood. A great location if you bring a boat. The home was very clean. We went to several of the little islands there. The boat ramp is not too far and at the time of our stay, it was $8.00 to launch. Our trailers fit perfect in the garage, while the boats were in the water. If/when we go back, we will rent this home again if it is available. It was a perfect fit for our family and friends. We will just know what else we need to bring. Lots of eating there as well. Snook Inn was a very popular place. Ubering somewhere is a challenge. It takes anywhere from 9 minutes to 30 minutes to get one. Thanks for allowing us to use your home.

It's a nice little house, perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. They had everything we needed for cooking and feeling at home. The pool was adequate and the view was nice. It was pretty quiet, no construction noise like another reviewer stated. We would stay there again. The only major complaint is the property manager showed up and opened the door and poked his head in an hour before checkout while we were still cleaning up and loading the car, as if to herd us towards to door. That was really cheesy.

Marco canal front rental
We greatly enjoyed the pool and lanai and the view was lovely. The listing purports to be in a quiet neighborhood, but the construction noise all around started at 730 am everyday except Sunday. Ruined the enjoyment. The place was not as well maintained as expected for the cost.

Good value; poor maintenance & responsiveness from management company
Pros: Good value, good & quiet neighborhood, good location, good kitchen amenities, good laundry facilities, beautiful new screened in area over the pool. Cons: Lockbox didn't open (had to go through garage with code to enter house), light over dock did not work making night fishing from the dock impossible and unsafe, outside lights (2) near pool area did not work, many lights in the house did not work (many did not have lightbulbs), master shower clogged and pooled water immediately, common shower handle loose and very difficult to turn on/off Regarding the cons, I called the management company 4 times withing the first 18 hours of staying at the house and was told that someone would get back to me but they didn't. Also, I got conflicting answers every time I called (that was addressed and closed, we don't have crews to address that night). Great responsiveness in answering the phone when I called but zero follow-up on.

If you're looking for a house where you can walk out the back door and into your warm pool or onto a dock to get to your boat, located within a great neighborhood, with a great westerly view, you've found a jackpot. The things that need work: Shower valves are very tricky to work and very hard to get hot water. Gas grill has no starter, The beds all have foam mattresses toppers. The AC is on a Nest timer so it shuts off at night, making it very hot. I wasn't sure how to bypass that. The decor needs some work, but who really cares about that. The kitchen is small, but clean and nice. It has a great pass-through window. to the outdoor table. The whole house was clean. I much prefer renting directly from an owner. I hate dealing with third party management companies. This site used to be called Vacation Rental By Owner. I wish that were still true. The management company had too many "policies" and I felt they were not easy to deal with. The handyman wasn't so handy. Told me unless the house was burning down, he was too busy for some of my requests mentioned above. I would definitely recommend the place, despite the things mentioned above.
