Cambridgeshire Farmhouse Getaway

Guys Farm provides a luxury getaway set in the peaceful Cambridgeshire countryside with convenient rail links to Ely, Cambridge, Peterborough and Stansted Airport. Guys Farm has five individually-styled bedrooms, now available for 6 (usually sleeping up to 12 guests.) It has a large kitchen-diner, three bathrooms, two reception rooms and a utility room.We provide a large hot tub, games room with games and toys and a large TV and DVD player for all our guests to enjoy. The local village offers a range of pubs, eateries and a shop.

Lovely traditional farmhouse
Really great time staying at Guy's Farm, it's a traditional old farmhouse. Rooms are comfy and got some lovely views, you'll need a car as it's super rural. Some of the facilities could be modernised but everything works and is clean so it's not actually an issue, just a note. Would 10/10 recommend

Okay ish stay
We booked this as a break for two families with two kids each and a dog. The house needs a really good deep clean. It was not to either families’ standards. Even the kids said it didn’t feel clean enough. The layout of the house didn’t work either. The living room is down the hallway from the kitchen and isn’t set out in a good way. We actually moved the sofas around to suit us! (Put them back). You can’t really walk anywhere from the house. We visited Ely a couple of times, which is lovely and close enough. There’s not much around locally which suited us as the point was to just chill. The hot tub is a nice addition but there was not good enough lighting to be able to use it or the outdoor seating area in the evenings, which is a shame at this time of year.

Brilliant short break
House is lovely in a remote area but close to the village. Overall this was a great break and Caroline has thought of so many little touches to make you feel welcome. Facilities are great with lots of games and toys available to entertain the children!
