"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"There were many good things about this property. The kitchen was the most well-appointed kitchen I’ve ever seen! If you needed something to make your meal, it was there. Hi-end pots & pans, beautiful dishes, stainless steel commercial-like sink, double-oven range, etc. It was great! The owners spared no expense to stock the kitchen! The main floor bathroom shower was exactly like the pictures. It was wonderful! The only issue we had was that the sink needed a round of Drano because it backed up...

"The Lodge had charcoal, lighter fluid, and lighter ready the grill; there were also firestarters for the fire pits; a Blackstone hooked up and ready to go; AC set nice and cold…etc. Very well planned for nobody around in the office our entire four days. "My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! "Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. The owner is very hospitable and there are lots of nice thoughtful touches through out. Don't miss out on this one. We hope to stay...

"This sweet cabin was just right for my husband and me. We loved the porch rockers and enjoyed the beautiful view. We cooked breakfast and grilled at night. I’m glad we took the truck .. steep climb to the top. The cabin was just the right size for us and had everything we needed. We met friend in nearby Murphy and explored the Nantahala Outdoor Center. But mostly enjoyed the cabin and this beautiful quiet, escape!"
