"The place was really nice. It would have been the perfect place if they trim the tree down so first floor occupants can see the lake as advertised. The view was partially obscured by several trees. I would never recommend staying on the first floor. Overall it was a nice place to stay. "

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good - not a typical continental breakfast. One day there were omelettes and bacon, the next day was fried eggs and sausage. Biscuits and gravy both days and cinnamon rolls (these were very good) both days. The room could have been a little quieter in the morning. We were close to a staff storage area. "This was such a quaint, cozy cottage. The owner resides next door and checked us in, gave us the story behind the castle, which we loved. It was remote but close enough to Branson to go to a show. It was definitely worth the stay!"

"Our tub was not clean. Even had a comb hanging on the shower curtain rod. The toilet flushed so loud I could hear the rooms next flushing so I woke up multiple times both nights. Bed wasn’t comfortable either. I cleaned shower since I always bring cleaner to hotels but wasn’t confident that anything in room was clean after that. Now there was also a ton of people due to a tournament so I don’t hold all the noise against the hotel but it was all night kids laughing and walking around "

"Everything was mostly clean. There was a lot of dog hair on the rug in the livingroom and on the couch. The dishes weren't the cleanest, but were also picky and probably would've rewashed them before using anyways. Biggest downside to this property was the driveway. Not the easiest to back out. Plenty of space for 7 girls to stay and we really enjoyed the hot tub. "
