Mockingbird Pointe is a quiet secluded 1/2 acre tropical waterfront paradise in the heart of the Florida Keys with private heated and/or chilled 16' x 32' in ground cement swimming pool with splash deck. This two bedroom , two bath home is remodeled, furnished and completely renovated with new furniture, bedding, artwork and linens. Wrap around screened porches overlooking Sombrero Lagoon and your private 85 foot protected dock with lighted fish cleaning station, underwater fish lighting, bait freezer and outdoor shower. Gentle, easy to navigate steps to the living areas. Kitchen includes all the cookware and tools to satisfy the chief in you. Architecturally designed Cyprus beamed construction makes this place really special for your perfect vacation getaway. Split door refrigerator, stove and washer and dryer. Eight Bikes, 4 kayaks, bait freezer and fishing poles provided for guests use. Direct deep water boating access to Atlantic with no bridges.

Great Vacation
We had a great Spring Break at your home. Thank you for sharing. The location was fantastic. The kids loved riding bikes and we all enjoyed fishing right off the dock catching tons of fish. The pool was also fantastic.

Peaceful stay
We chose this listing as we loved the lush landscape, privacy, and shade this property offered. Additionally, it is tucked back on a culdesac so there’s not much traffic and it offers more parking than your usual house in the area. Although there are no fans on the wraparound porch, it provided a great escape for our little one who is less than a year and a very active crawler. The pool, of course, is roomy enough for the entire family and then some! Overall, we are satisfied with our stay and would recommend to others.

Another Great Stay
This was our 3rd stay at this perfect home. The location is ideal.The property has the most beautiful landscaping that gives it a very secluded feel. We enjoyed the pool everyday and the screened porch at night. We kayaked, took bike rides and just appreciated our surroundings. Phil and Linda are wonderful and caring hosts. They are always available if needed. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. We look forward to returning next year!

Great vacation spot
Loved the location of this home and the outdoor things such as the kayaks and fishing gear was a great touch !! Loved to fish off the docks and enjoy the water view from the hammock. Wasn’t over touristy but close enough to go to other spots and come back to the privacy our home and backyard provided.

Tropical paradise
We loved the house and location. We felt like we were at our own tropical resort. Private and relaxing. We had plenty of room to dock our rented boat. We saw Manatees off the dock!! The pool was so warm and enjoyable! We are hoping to book again in the future!

Fabulous property for our vacation
This was our first trip to the keys and this home was perfect. Property was easy to access, clean and had everything we needed. Pool was perfectly heated for night time swimming. Caught many different types of fish off of dock including Snook and Tarpon. Also had daily visits from Manatees which was magical. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

Perfect Location
This property was in the ideal location. Very close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and activities. The landscaping around the house made it feel very private but also had great views from the back of the house. The pool area was wonderful. Great place to relax. Inside of the house was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.

Tropical Paradise
The house and property is amazing, a tropical paradise! The landscaping and pool area is top notch with amazing views, plus lots of wild life (manatees at the dock and iguanas, lizards all over the property). The house is phenomenal and the screened in porch is the best!

This house was way more beautiful than the pictures could show! It was like our own private resort. Thoughtfully equipped with comfortable furniture and beds everywhere. We love Marathon and the house was in a perfect location. The owners were prompt in helpful with any questions asked. My favorite place was sitting in the pool under the umbrella. Loved our stay!

Great Location
Had a great stay as we've stayed here many times over the years. Couldn't ask for a quieter area and the owners were very good with communication. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to rent a house in the keys. Definitely will return next year.

Peaceful Paradise
The house was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. On the weekend evenings we could hear the live music from a local bar but it added to the ambience of the island vibe, not loud at all. The Iguana which I’m sure calls the area home was always a little exciting and the Manatee that visited us on the doc a few evenings were incredible. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home.

Everything we needed was available in the home. We use to live in Marathon and went back for a visit. This house was a perfect option for us. We will definitely book this property for our next visit to Marathon!

perfect getaway, this is keys living
This is a superb Keys rental that feels like your own secluded resort. Owner is kind and super responsive with all communications. The home is as per advertisement, clean, and stocked. We loved the screened porch which we sat out having coffee breakfast and evening drink. All the rooms have opening doors which in the morning was fab to let the keys breeze flow through. The heated pool was a treat, the garden tastefully landscaped and very private. We enjoyed fishing off the dock catching many variations of fish, at night the dock light was cool to watch the fish and wildlife such as manatee pop by. Kitchen well stocked with coffee, sugar, spices, soap etc... Would defiantly return and recommend to anyone.

Beautiful tropical getaway!
We absolutely loved the privacy and the landscaping in the back yard! The location was wonderful and the house was very well stocked! Really enjoyed having access to the bikes and the kayaks. All around it was a great time! Thank you Phil and Linda!
