Tarpon Lagoon 5 Bedroom 4 Bath with heated pool on crystal clear deep Lagoon

Tarpon Lagoon is the perfect peaceful location to Boat, Swim, Dive, Snorkel right in your back yard. Exposure has beautiful sunsets from the back balcony, and a nice deep heated pool is nestled in the partial shade, right next to the clear lagoon water. Lagoon is teaming with wildlife, Manatees, Turtles, Tarpon, and Dolphin are a normal occurrence. If you want to try your hand at a little dock fishing, Tarpon Lagoon has some of the best water that is available at a house in the marathon area. The wide body of sea-air lagoon allows many different activities in a safe area for practice, or more challenging areas right in the bay, which is just a few hundred feet away. The Large bike path connects this area from the center of Marathon for leisurely walks, or long bike rides. This house also features a heated pool and pool table. The fifth bedroom is outside down the stairs on the first floor with its own living area and full bathroom. Wasn’t use to an induction stove, but got use to it and it was grest.!
We came to Lobster and fish. Horrible year for that, but we had a good time anyway. Was a little disappointed in the dock, as it had a couple of broken boards right where you get in the boat, my son replaced them. Wasn’t a big fan of the gravel that you had to walk over to get to the dock. As soon as it rained or got wet the tile was very slick.

We loved this property. I don’t know why anyone would not give this a 10/10 because I have stayed in multiple places in Marathon and this is by far my favorite. The amount of wildlife outside below our dock was incredible. We saw manatee, dolphin, turtles, rainbow fish, tarpon and my son even caught a small barracuda.the sunsets were amazing and the space for a large family is great. There may be a few little cosmetic issues but nothing that would make it a bad time. Wear water shoes on the pool deck because it’s slippery. The fun we had and memories made is invaluable!!!

Everything about the property was great. The house could use some TLC regarding, pool patio is death trap, breakers switches kept popping and furniture could use some updating. Those things did not impact our stay at all, this is only informational for the future.

Wonderful family vacation
This home was really beautiful, in a great location, and the kitchen equipment was perfect. The lagoon was fun for us because we saw lots of turtles and tarpon and the younger children could swim off the dock. We had a wonderful time and are hoping to come back soon. Thanks for having us.

Location on the gulf was excellent great sunsets tarpon and manatees at the dock caught keeper mangroves off the dock . Very quiet neighborhood The house was well kept and furnished. Would recommend for a family getaway

Nice house, could use some TLC
The house met our needs but could use some extra attention. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed the pool and both patios as well. The local caretakers were also very responsive to our texts. Some of the things that we didn't love were the lack of extra bath towels, nowhere to hang shower towels, and no beach items of any kind, which I have come to expect in FL rentals. I do wish we would have rented a boat while we were there, as that would have made the trip even better. The house was great for hanging out and overall we were satisfied with the rental and experience.

Family Spring Break
This home and property was perfect for our families. There was plenty of space and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. The kids loved the pool and outside areas. The dock was great for the boat we rented. We brought a paddle board and kayak which were easily launched from the dock. The many outside seating areas were utilized by family members of all ages. The kitchen was adequately stocked. We prepared several meals and loved the large dining room table. Thank you!
