Age and Occupancy Requirements: Booking tenant must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the booking. Furthermore, this property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and is not available for worker housing.

A Great Stay in Duck Key
The home was a beautiful place to stay with three bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a beautiful sun room with a view of water and dock. If we go back to the Keys again, this is where we would stay.

Good value vs the resort
The elevator was out for last couple of days, lots of toilet issues but they dutifully came out to fix them. We were late on check out by 40 mins. Staff had to wait.

Spacious unit with a nice view
We had a great time at Duck Key. The unit was clean and spacious. Even though we could not use the amenities at Hawks Cay Resort we went boating and visited other places. Would like to visit again sometime.

The property was nice and comfortable. Just a few things that I would recommend. The chairs on the lanai were very aged and sagging to the point they were difficult to sit in. Also the bathrooms were supplied with tiny soaps and the dispensers in the showers were empty. Again, comfortable villa but thought I would share those few items. Thanks, Mike Uselton

Unit needs a lot of work!
This unit is in very bad shape. Several items are broken, we had mosquitos in the unit every night with all the doors closed. The WiFi didn't work. The TV didn't work. Fan broke, Fan light broke, drawers falling off coffee table, ripped screens, broken exterior door to utility closet, I could go on.... We had 1 trash bag and paper towel roll for 6 of us. The owner really needs to go stay there for a few days to see the condition. However other than this unit being trashed, it was a really nice size. We had 6 people there and had plenty of room. Nice big bathrooms. Great view of the water and nice big back lanai. The resort was really nice. Great location to everything. The check in and check out was very easy. As they mentioned in the listing, you DO NOT have access to the amenities at the resort. We knew that but after seeing the amenities we'd like to book again at the resort to enjoy them. I'd highly suggest this resort but not this unit.

Almost Great
Searched specifically for a place with washer/dryer as we were fishing alot and packed with minimal clothes. We arrived to find the washer/dryer were missing and water leak on our hands. Luckily we figure out the hose to the washer had not been turned off and put it back into the drain hole. We then had to use the 4 very super small towel we had in a place that slept 8 for the water that was no leaking out from under the vanity. I will say they were super responsive and brought up much bigger, nicer and numerous towels to use for the rest of the trip. Was told at that time an email was supposed to have gone out to guests to inform of the no washer dryer. I get that the supply chain is messed up and takes weeks, we would have packed differently. To what was a very nice place with a very nice view, there was a 1/2 of roll of toilet paper in the master with no spare. The other bathroom had 1.5 roles. We stayed for 6 days and when I asked about an extra roll, they said they only supplied the started one. Well, we didn't even get a full one. For the price, the location and how everything else was, an extra roll or two of toilet paper or better response to the question would have made all the difference in the world. We had to spend extra money on clothes to make it through the week and still hand washed half of our items. No offer of a partial discount for our trouble. This place could be great with some minor changes that wouldn't cost them much a few bucks of a discount for our troubles and 2 extra rolls of toilet paper. We have rentals ourselves, those are well worth the customer investment. But, would suggest the place if you know all this going in--great centralized location to fishing and Key West.

Clean location. Good views. Enjoyed our stay. Could have used more garbage bags and other basics. Would have liked to see more towels in main bathroom instead of grabbing from hall bathroom. Not a lot to complain about. Thanks.

Over all it was ok but the description of the half bath is incorrect. Only 2 bathrooms. There is no half bath in the unit. To call someone with issues took a long time.

no washer/dryer with no previous notification so unable wash clothes or towels ,only 1 kitchen garbage bag for 6 days, 1 roll of paper towels, no broom to sweep, garbagecdisposall broken,weak water pressure,,outdated furniture,,vacuum cleaner barely worked when you pay $$$ for a family vacation you want everything just right but it wasn't, called vacassa 3 times to discuss our issues but concern from vacassa was "that is the way it is"... the apartment location was very nice and the place is spacious and has potentisl to be 5 star property but it wasn't for us

Kinda Bummed - Great Location
The rental management company that takes care of this place keeps it clean which was great. That's about where I feel things fall apart...literally. Several things are in disrepair including the leaking sink trap (which we repaired...thankfully we're handy), the oven rack that goes to a completely different stove (that fell when we slid a tray on it), an undersized garbage bin (with only 2 extra bags), very low quality dishes and cookware (hardly enough to make a full meal with) and various other small issues which become bigger issues when there's so much wrong. I am not one to complain, but I think if the owners invested just a small amount this place would be 5-stars. The location is outstanding, close to the marina and easy access to the highway. The views are gorgeous as well, overlooking the boats coming in and out of Hawks Cay. When we weren't out fishing, we spent most of our time on the beautiful screen porch. Fix all the issues above and I'd come back...until then it's a hard pass for me. I'll look elsewhere on Duck Key next time.
