"I spent 2 weeks in India and this hotel was simply the best! The staff was unbelievably pleasant and welcoming. I felt like I received personal service from the manager and the staff. The physical facilities were top notch and the views were amazing. The complimentary morning tea gardens tour was just a cherry on the sundae. I booked this property as we had an extra final day at the end of our itinerary, but once there I felt I should have spent several days. Next time!"

"Absolutely gorgeous hotel. The space was extremely comfortable and well decorated. The views are amazing. Only downside is I believed that the cooking presentations were mediocre. I thought they could show how sauces were prepared rather than just assembling a meal."

"Excellent Staff, Great Food, and a Beautiful View. Front Desk Supervisor Ambu, Food Manager Mathew, Restaurant Manager Vipin, restaurant staff George (Chocolate Maker), and Chef Sabu were all excellent. The shows and activities at the hotel were equally enjoyable for both kids and adults. It’s a great place to stay—home away from home—and our entire 10-member team enjoyed every minute of the stay."

"You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful. The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews. The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is). The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst the trees. There was no one overlooking us, and I think that is the case on most of the rooms. The staff were very friendly. They helped arrange a tour for us. It does seem that most guests arrange their own driver and tours. I would suggest contacting the hotel before for a list of the sites to see nearby (tea plantation, waterfalls, spice gardens, chocolate factories, etc)... The list is a single page and you would be able to plan your own visits with the driver who takes you to the hotel."
