"Eden's Edge Lodge is an excellent choice for exploring the Tasman area, Kaiteriteri beach, etc. It is part of a small orchard/farm, so sources its own fruit, herbs, and eggs for breakfast. Very pleasant and relaxing, yet only a five-minute drive from Matueka for restaurants and shopping."

"We loved the location and the indoor/outdoor areas compelled us to cook in instead of heading to one of the many incredible restaurants at Mapua which we'd been looking forward to. That tells you how good it felt. It has a great outdoor fire and covered seating area which was perfect at the end of a cycling day and heading into a cooler autumn evening. It worked well after we tidied it up although there is no lighting out there once it gets dark. It sleeps 9 with bunkbed options and there were 8 of us/4 couples. A bit of a squeeze and only one bathroom - all of which we knew beforehand and made work. "

"We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. "

"The property was perfect for our family group. Just a few minutes walk from the beach and a short drive from the Abel Tasman park. The garden was peaceful and secluded and perfect for evening relaxing. The house was well stocked with utensils, bedding and towels and well cared for. We would definitely come back to Marahau and book this property again."
