"My wife & I stayed at Gary's place for 4 nights. It's a great set-up for us - easy parking, privacy, peaceful around the clock. The view of the lake was off-the-hook.I read a review about a hectic 4th of July party, but that has to be way out of the ordinary. We did meet Gary once as we were leaving - he's easy going and super nice. The main space of the apartment is clean, comfortable and had some nice retro features - which we enjoy. Thanks for a great stay, Gary!!!"

"Great location overlooking the beach, which has both wide sand stretches and rock formations. But be aware, the gate to stairs down to beach has combination lock on it, so be sure to know it. There is a lot of road noise early in the morning since condo is located just off road. Can't imagine sleeping 6 here. There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults. Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on...

"Me and my son stayed during the Olympic trials in Eugene. The journey back and forth to Eugene was very manageable and we certainly enjoyed the peace and quiet of Mapleton. The accommodations are exactly as described and the home is well stocked with coffee, laundry needs, etc. Lastly, Larry and Pam were wonderful and accommodated our late arrival on our first day with no concerns. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains, this home should be at the top of your list."

"The property and the Condo itself was ok. BUT No Matter we could not get heat in the Condo. We Made sure the Heat was set at 73, (it was a dule thermostat heat and cooling.) and Cooling at 75. "The house is an older house, but it is wonderfully charming. The best part of this property is location, location, location. It has its own private forest a big green yard fire pits barbecue. It’s amazing. You can walk to the dunes privately. Your dogs can run freely!And the owner of the property is a real great guy! I would recommend this property any time! Some reviews listed the driveway as an issue. It is not it is perfectly.perfectly fine. "
