"Brought my family and some friends to stay for weekend for daughter’s belated birthday. The house was cozy. A little rustic. Very much like the cabins at lake Taghkanic. Basic decor and nothing too expensive, which I appreciate. Particularly with a house that sleeps that many and when many of them are young adults, prone to being messy. There is a lake but you either have to drive to it to or cut through the woods on foot, as it is at a local town park. The jacuzzi was a great draw. And the pool...

"Rustic, but perfect. The cabin is nothing fancy, but sure is cozy and comfortable. Water from the pump was cold and tasted great. Nice bed in the loft. I slept with the upper screen open and the front door open and screen door hooked in place. Nice cool night. I thoroughly enjoyed pitching a fire and watching it get dark and listening to the woods. Had fun calling back to an owl and listening to bullfrogs down in the pond. Stirred up a buck in the morning. Just beautiful out there. Hot/cold...
