We had to find a place to stay while listing our house for sale. Evelyn was so accommodating to our open house times and our family. My teenager and my dogs loved it there. What a lovely experience. I highly recommend!
We loved the unique decor as soon as we walked in. The rooms were comfortable and clean, nice sheets and comforters. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. The yard was perfect for letting our dogs out to exercise in. Evelyn communicated very well and accommodated our family on short notice. Would highly recommend a stay here!
The perfect getaway for a trip to the Seattle area
Wanted to get my UW student off campus during their short Thanksgiving break. This farmhouse getaway was so perfect for that, as it gave us close access to several amazing hiking spots and even some views of Mt. Rainier.
The place is well-appointed, cozy, and quiet. And the hosts made sure we were able to find the property for a late check-in, and to get in without hassle.
Highly recommend!
I was not expecting it to be so nice but everything was beautiful and great! From the plant want to the very comfy beds - I loved this place and so did my parents. Evelyn was also super easy to communicate with if we had any concerns. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at this location. Relaxing and peaceful other than the road traffic. It wasnt loud all the time, just during peak hours.
The host communicated well and seemed very friendly. The only negative was the vines growing over the stairs to the unit.
If we ever return, we would stay again.
We loved our stay at “The Barn.” Stephanie, the property manager, was so friendly and helpful, and a dog lover to boot! My family and furbabies and I all felt so welcome. Comfy beds, fun decor, inviting hangout spaces both inside and outside, and the best-stocked kitchen I have yet to find in a vacation rental. I hope to be back!
Lovely top floor barn apartment (no farm animals in the main barn). Our pet dogs were welcome and happy there. Beautiful rural location. Nice common outdoor picnic area. Roomy and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The property was nicely tucked in off of a road, and was easily accessed. The living area had some unique features, and was comfortable for our stay. Directions and communication with owner was very easy. I didn’t realize that there were two airstream campers sharing the property, even though the outside space was listed as “common area”. It was not a problem, but I was surprised to see someone at the picnic table in the morning. Our living area was roomy and the beds were comfortable.
Although the pictures of inside the unit are accurate, what the listing does not identify is that theyve turned the front yard of the property into 2 airstream campsites. The place is beautiful but the ad is completely deceiving. We rented the property as "entire home#" and were not advised of the campsites. Also, the area highlighted with the picture of the Yellow Barn, is actually now considered "common space" for the campsite renters. Of which, the owner did not disclose that there may be renters during our stay (after questioning the campsites, she mentioned that a mother and daughters may be checking in. She didnt also mention that there woould be someone occupying them at 3:45am the following morning - I found out when the headlights beamed into my bedroom). All this to say is that my review is wholly based on the dishonesty of the listing and the failure to disclose the shared space prior to rental. When renting the "entire home" it should be my choice whether or not I want a place with "common spaces".
Do better.
I had a conference in Seattle, and this was a great place to stay. It was a 25-minute commute, and then back to a peaceful setting. There was lots of room for our 2 dogs, and it was close to groceries and restaurants.
Worked in the area and stayed here for a few weeks. Just what we needed.

Awesome place
The farmhouse was so fun! Had a rocky check in process but I think that was on vrbo not the host. The host made up for the check in issue, overall great property
Beautiful open floor plan, spacious kitchen and livingroom, fantastic beds.
Hosts were responsive and apologetic about cleaning crew skipping this unit. Immediately dropped what they were doing to bring up fresh linens and towels. Would rent this property again in a heartbeat. Can’t say enough good things.
My wife and I came out to spend some time with our daughter, who lives in Seattle. This was the perfect “base camp” for our four days of hiking and adventure. The location is ideal…close to everything we wanted to do during our day tips, yet secluded enough to enjoy some quiet privacy in the evenings. The property itself was spacious and comfortable, with all of the amenities we could have wanted. We highly recommend, and would stay here again on our next trip out.
The interior is surprisingly spacious. Each of our teens had a room, which was fabulous. Rural but near family for us. Beds were a bit firm for our taste.
The loft is beautifully done, host very accommodating. For us, the location wasn’t perfect because we prefer walkability. It’s on a lane off a very busy, narrow, winding road, so we couldn’t walk anywhere. There is a beautiful trail nearby, however, but it only felt safe driving to it.
