"This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! "

"Loved this quiet little spot and would be delighted to come back sometime! Had a nice hike down to the beach - property is beautiful. Enjoyed getting cozy in the cabin on a snowy evening after a chilly hike. Nice, clean, comfy space! "

"We had a very peaceful stay! The cabin is beautifully done with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous kitchen and comfortable beds. Very close to Gooseberry Falls, Iona's Beach, Tettegouche State Park, Betty's pies and Duluth along with many other sites and restaurants to explore. Host Chad was very helpful. "

"Purple Waves was everything the listing detailed and more! It was clean, comfortable, had a beautiful lakefront view, and was pet friendly! The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc needed to cook or BBQ. They provided plenty of towels for both humans and pets as well as extra bedding and plenty of blankets. Highly recommend!"

"I wanted a trip to escape with my kiddos and be in nature!! This was exactly that. We enjoyed every minute and the best part was we were left alone. There was enough dishes for a family of 4. Theres a microwave, small toaster oven (I thought I could make puzza and you have to 4th the pizza to do so), there's a grilling grate, so we brought tin foil for burgers; super good. "I have been staying at VRBO’s for many years. This is by far the most amazing place I have ever experienced. From the craftsmanship of the home, to the very well stocked and kitchen, to the bedding everything was the finest quality. The home is steps away from the lake so you could go to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing. The sauna had a glass front so you can enjoy the stunning views while decompressing.
