Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Booked for 4 days and was more excited to leave than I should’ve been. Andrea communicates effectively and in a timely manner, however I was not happy with my overall stay. The apartments are on a huge hill, too far of a walk from Kiosko or Oxxo and they say there’s a “mini super” on the property but there is not, it’s all shut down. So be prepared by bringing your own food or taking a taxi to the store. There are few restaurants to choose from and are only open either in the evening or during certain times of the day. The apartment complex is also like a labyrinth we got lost a few times. Bed is hard as a rock. Our tv didn’t work and maintenance couldn’t fix it so we went 3 days without tv. No compensation for that or anything. Andrea didn’t send anybody to fix it. Puerto Las Hadas only has access to a tiny, and I mean TINY, section of the beach and is not allowed on the hotels section of the beach or their pool or bar. I was not made aware of this until security came over to kick us out of “their section”. The apartments pool is also more like a jacuzzi, it’s extremely hot temp. Luckily, the apartment had fantastic AC and made the inside very cool. Bad part is that the air from the AC made the balcony extremely hot so we couldn’t even enjoy being on the balcony. The fridge is also a mini fridge, not a full size. It’s a beautiful view at night but very hard to enjoy. Terrible experience.
