"Booked a standard room with air con via Hotels.com, but upon arrival, we were given a room without AC & were forced to pay $20 for something we had already paid for. The owner refused to correct the issue &was extremely rude. Despite clear advertising, the issue was not resolved. Instead, the owner responded with this dismissive reply: "you booked a private room without AC, you can check also you email confirmation of the room that you booked, also you can check on you right of this chat that...

"Place was fine but I do not like when places advertise that there's Wi-Fi but then in the rooms not able to have Wi-Fi would like to ask for a refund or come to some amicable solution "

"I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."

"The Apartment was beautiful "

"Very dirty, dusty, damp and smelly. Not very clean and gets very noisy at night: had to change rooms once then toilet blocked in new room and the whole thing was a nightmare"

It also wasn’t close to the beach and she didn’t know how to use the computer or phone. We walked out and found a cute quiet hostel down the street with air conditioning and private bath for 25 "

"The place is just amazing! We came for two nights and as soon as we walked in, we tried to book more nights, unfortunately only one extra night we were able to snap. About the property: the place is apiece of heaven in earth, the pictures in the website are great but seeing it in person looks even better. The staff are the best and food (omg) that’s the cherry on top of the cake, every plate is delicious…. While we stayed there we met several other customers and all of them had the same opinion, this place is just fantastic! Big shout out to the stall Kaylee, Henry, Sharon and many others than I can’t remember their names"

"Beautiful property. The scenery was beautiful the staff was friendly. I enjoyed everything about it. Wish I could have stayed longer. Do remember it is surrounded by trees so expect a critter here and there . My lucky guest was a spider. Drinks could be a little stronger but you can always buy yourself a bottle before exiting the airport. "
