"Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. "

The place was not very clean at all, it was dusty with dirty floors. The hot tub was working as expected except that it looks like the water had not been treated with the necessary chemicals and it had a foul smell (standing water). "This is a lovely home that can accommodate multiple guests. Plenty of room to spread out. Has every amenity. Well-stocked kitchen. There was difficulty reaching the owner to check in. We never received an access code until 45 minutes prior to check in time. It is in a remote area with limited services nearby, which made the situation even more difficult and stressful."
