We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved seeing the animals roam.. very peaceful. Only regret is not enough time. I will definitely keep this place as a favorite
My family and I stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved this property. Tucked back from the B Hwy, very quaint and clean tiny home. Easy to get to town and close enough to Springfield / SGF…Keep in mind, we have a family of six all told, and we were happy and comfortable the entire time. We will come back here no question!
Wow! If I could give 10 stars, I would!
The tiny house was adorable; the location was beautiful; proximity to Laura Ingalls Wilder's home (our destination) was perfect. Best of all, though, was the wonderfully accommodating and friendly host and family! They went out of their way to provide an exceptional experience for our family. We'd go out of our way to stay here again. We suggest you do the same!
My adult daughter and I stayed here while visiting Wilder Days in Mansfield. The home makes good use of its space and is amazingly roomy. The main sleeping areas are in lofts, up steep stairs. That wasn’t a problem for us, but might be an issue for older seniors or young children who might be prone to falling, so just be aware. The kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer were convenient. Though we didn’t use them, there was also a BBQ on the back deck, as well as a fire pit in the yard. The stars shone brightly at night and the stay was peaceful and relaxing. The host was quick to reply to messages, and I would stay here again if I’m in the area.
This cottage was a great option, since there arent a lot of places to stay in this area. Brittany was easy to talk to from the start. Very responsive and helpful. The cottage worked out great for my husband, myself, and 2yr old twinns.
We enjoyed our week stay here. The owners provided enough amenities that we didn't lack for anything. The property was in good repair and clean.
It was very peaceful and private. We enjoyed the local wildlife and spotted deer almost every morning.
We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thanks!
