Take a step back in time with a stay at this historic brick schoolhouse built in 1875.
Originally called “schoolhouse #7” on the 1896 Mansfield Map, it was converted to a 2 bedroom home in the mid 1900's. Recently updated with some creature comforts like a fresh new bathroom, unique furniture, and cozy beds.
Situated on a nice quiet 1/2 acre lot above a ravine with a babbling creek below.
There are 2 cozy bedrooms on the second level, and queen size murphy bed on the first floor. There is a fully stocked kitchen and freshly renovated bathroom on the first floor.
Also on the main floor is a comfortable living room / dining room. The space provides you with games, a Chesterfield leather sofa, gas log fireplace, record player, and a desk / work station for working remote.
There are several steps on the first level to step up into the kitchen or bathroom. Just to communicate any accessibility concerns the first floor isn’t on one flat level.
We offer high speed internet as well.
Be cautious of the ravine and hillside, we have fencing to protect guests of the steep hillside.
