If you prefer the outdoors, there is a gas grill, outside dining set & firepit for smores creations & hotdog roasts. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep just a ladder's climb away in the loft, comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room or a full bed downstairs. Lane's End is great for couples, solo adventurers & remote workers.
The interior of the cabin is modern with a full kitchen, including everything you need to prepare your own meals, other than the food. The food can be purchased from nearby farms, local produce markets and downtown Mansfield. Information on local farm stuffs can be found in the Guest Welcome Book in the kitchen.
In addition to the loft sleeping area with a queen bed, there is a foldout bed in the sofa on the main floor and a full bed in the ground floor suite. Comfort abounds with memory foam mattresses, soft sheets and warm comforters for each bed. Towels and washcloths are also provided.
Popular entertainment platforms are provided via a smart TV in the living room and one in the ground floor suite. Wi-fi and ethernet are also provided so if work calls during your time here, you can answer, though you may not want to. There is a dedicated office space in the ground floor suite.
Outdoor furniture on the deck provides a comfortable place to just sit, relax and listen to the sounds of nature. The balcony off the loft bedroom looks out over a hayfield where birds and deer find food, providing calming entertainment.

The cabin is the last residence on a private dead end tree-lined lane. It is approximately 15 minutes from Mansfield, PA, the location of Mansfield University and a few unique specialty shops and restaurants. The PA Grand Canyon, Rails to Trails, Dickens, the Laurel Festival and STPR are all located in Wellsboro, PA, about 25-30 minutes away. Beautiful Watkins Glen is just over an hour north. At Lane's End, you are in the middle of some of the most wonderful hiking areas of the PA Wilds. A car is a must because there is limited public transportation in rural areas.
