It would be a great place to stay at other times of the year as well We very much enjoyed Maggie’s baked treats and the Strawbale cottage holiday vibe. "What an amazing place to stay. We were able to take our dog with us. Keren is a wonderful host that provides the right amount of service and privacy. Highly recommend. The bed was so comfy, clean with beautiful linen. Everything was spotless. Great kitchen and BBQ for meals. The pool was a great addition. Just sorry we hadn't booked for longer. "We rode the Great Victorian Rail Trail. The cottage was fantastic, as was the outdoor seating area. There was plenty of room to put our 4 bikes under cover outside, adjacent to an outdoor power point for re-charging the batteries. The cottage was roomy, with a very effective air conditioner and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We kept cool in the 36 degree heat!"
