"What's not to like? In addition to scoring a 10 on everything, we loved the vibe of a 1950's motel. This is not the only one in Manteo, but I doubt there is nicer room than the Lost Colony Suite. This is right off the reception area and coffee room. We were concerned that noise might be a problem with people checking in, but for our stay, this was not a factor.
