"The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. "Very peaceful location. Property is on a working farm but feels secluded away in a forest where you don’t see the farm. The house is an old cabin that is spacious and with lake access on a small dock. There is a large sauna in good working conditions that is clean. "Property was renovated older building but was generally in good condition. Biggest drawback was no onsite staff. No one to answer questions or provide information. Outside of building very rundown but interior much better. Rate was good, but i had a rooftop view of pipes etc. Air conditioning ineffective on unseasonably warm week. Very quiet and plumbing quiet as opposed to U.S. hotels, a very nice change. With some exterior cosmetic upgrades and onsite staff it would get a much better review....
