"This was a tiny, pretty bare bones place but with a certain charm and probably a small environmental footprint. The proprietor and his assistant were gracious and accommodating. The property itself left something to be desired. The rooms were all ground floor and the way the place was built resulted in a lack of auditory privacy between the room’s bathroom and the guest house kitchen. Great value stay

"I really enjoyed my stay at Kutumbaya. The staff were really friendly and helped organise a safari and tour of the ancient ruins for me. The food was great, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfasts. The WiFi and air con were good and I even found some Premiership football on the TV. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Everything is good, but there were two minor issues I would point out. 1.) Shower door didn't close completely. 2.) They only give one room key, which you need to plug in for lights to operate. So, there is a chance you can walk out and get locked out the door. When I pointed that out, they gave me a sperate card to plug in for the lights and so my door keys were always in my pocket. One thing I should mention more than anything, staff were super friendly and very helpful!"
