Chalet La Croix Méridionale is an OVO Network property. It is a 5 bedroom 5 bathroom chalet for 10, spread over 3 floors and across 250m2.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

With an exterior hot tub. a sauna, two lounges, and a separate TV lounge, there are plenty of great facilities, and lots of space throughout for all to enjoy.

Any chefs in the group will enjoy working in the well-equipped open plan kitchen. The shaded outdoor terrace, accessible from the chalet or the balcony, is ideal for alfresco dining in warmer weather, for taking coffee while watching the snow fall, breathing in the fresh air after a spectacular summer storm, or appreciating the sunsets. The Alps are a weather watcher's paradise all year round!

Four of the five spacious bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms; the fifth is also a double room. If you prefer taking a bath, there is a luxurious roll top bath in the fifth bathroom. On a practical note each floor has an independent WC.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note: There is a metal "floating" fireplace in the main living space, and open tread staircases therefore the chalet is perhaps not ideal for toddlers. You MUST have a vehicle which is properly equipped for driving in the Alps in winter. The chalet is for 10 persons, please note we won't accept more than 1 baby (under 2) on top of the total capacity.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

Détendez-vous à la montagne.
Le chalet "La Croix Méridionale" se trouve à 1100m d'altitude dans un endroit absolument calme avec une vue magnifique dans presque toutes les directions. Un jacuzzi et un sauna vous invitent à vous détendre après une longue randonnée. À notre arrivée, tout était très propre. Le contact avec Corinne, la gérante, a été très facile et agréable. Le seul point critique est le manque de confort des sièges extérieurs. Les chaises sont plutôt inconfortables, car il manquait les coussins correspondants. Nous aurions également souhaité un parasol. Un peu plus d'attention sur l'espace extérieur pour l'été, cela aurait été pour nous 5 étoiles.

Le chalet est idéalement situé, dans un quartier tranquille avec une vue imprenable. Le chalet est spacieux et très bien équipé : sauna, jacuzzi, salle de télévision avec DVD, jeux à disposition, équipements de cuisine de qualité, et vaisselle en nombre. Les lits étaient faits à l'arrivée, les serviettes de toilette nous étaient fournies et nous avions également du gel douche et shampoing à disposition. Corinne la manager était présente à l'arrivée, ainsi que pendant le séjour pour solutionner le moindre problème rencontré. Le top !

Le chalet est situé à un endroit à couper le souffle, la vue est incroyable. Il est spacieux, bien équipé (pour cuisiner, se divertir, se détendre)... comme à la maison. Nous n’avons manqué de rien : des jeux, des produits de base pour cuisiner, des produits d’entretien, tout est prévu pour qu’on ne se soucie de rien. Propreté irréprochable, même dans les détails ! Corinne la manager est une personne formidable qui met du cœur à faire ce qu’elle fait et ça se voit. Aucune suggestion si ce n’est qu’accéder au chalet est une vrai épreuve pour les peureux mais découvrir le chalet au bout de cette route rocambolesque est une grande récompense !

A cosy home from home
What a week we have just had! Our group have loved staying at the chalet. It was just perfect for our groups requirements. We made full use of the hot tub day and night. The views are stunning- my favourite was from the window on the right above the brown leather settee. The sledges were great for our little boy who loved sliding down the slope by the steps in the garden. The living space was ideal for us especially having the different seating areas-we could all be together but not crammed into one tight space. Kitchen was fab and very well equipped. Great idea having 2 fridges freezers for large groups. The bedroom configuration worked perfectly for us all. Corinne the chalet manager was lovely. Her English was very good. Toilet facilities on every floor were a bonus. Great idea with the boot room to hang coats in and out shoes in and added bonus of boot warner. The suspended wood burning stove was a super centre piece with members of the group commenting on how they would love one! A home from home, comfy and cosy. We would definitely look at returning in the future !
