"We were doing a project in nearby Pentalofos so we had long work days. The area is quiet and it's a wonderful departure from the business of the city. The rooms were quite comfortable and my room had everything I needed. I had a small fridge and a stove to cook up anything if I wanted. Part way through my trip I was able to coordinate laundry services. My room had a wonderful view of the sunrise, which was a great sight to wake up to. The rooms are always clean and warm, it felt like a home away from home. The owners are the kindest people. Every morning we had a delicious Greek breakfast. Ilektra's cooking further proves you can never have a bad meal in Greece. All of us ate everything. We felt quite spoiled! I expect my work and travels will take me through this area again and I will for sure stay here. This was a perfect basecamp for our time there. "

"We loved everything about the hotel. It was truly a 5 star, luxury hotel. We booked a Seaview room - the room and bathroom were modern and luxurious with a rain shower , bathrobes, fluffy towels and everything you would expect. When we walked in, the lobby was grand, check-in was a breeze, and service was excellent. There is even a hair salon and separately a spa which was wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool was nice with cabanas and lounge chairs. It’s on the seaside and an easy walk to restaurants and shops on the boardwalk. We absolutely loved it and would stay again !"

"The Stone House is a great choice for staying in Kastoria, especially with small children. The owners have put thought in details of this beautifully designed house that make the stay very comfortable. It was thoroughly cleaned and had everything one needs for a small family's stay. It's quiet and has a perfect view of the town through the wide windows or the backyard. One can easily fish or kayak from the property's small dock. The surrounding wildlife is part of the charm. Clear and quick communication with property owner, Ms. Eleni. It's a few minutes away from the main town for shopping and outings and all siteseeing spots. If there is one thing to be aware of, it would be the entering and exiting of the property, which is a bit sharp from the main road. Overall, it's an excellent deal, especially compared to other accommodations in the area. Το Πέτρινο Σπιτάκι προσφέρει ιδανική διαμονή στην Καστοριά. Αν και βρίσκεται λίγα λεπτά από την πόλη, είναι σε ένα πολύ ήσυχο σημείο πάνω στην λίμνη όπου μπορεί να χαρεί κάποιος την φύση από το παράθυρο ή την αυλή του σπιτιού. Το σπιτάκι είναι πεντακάθαρο και προσφέρει ό,τι χρειάζεται για να περάσει ένα ζευγάρι ή μια μικρή οικογένεια. Είναι άρτια εξοπλισμένο και πανέμορφα διαμορφωμένο. Η κ. Ελένη ανταποκρίθηκε αμέσως στις ερωτήσεις μας."

"It suited my purpose. Nothing fancy, but adequate. Only disappointed that when I arrived early all the way from America, they didn't allow me to check in for several hours when the place was empty, and they didn't offer to let me leave my heavy backpack with them while I waited. I had to walk around with it for a long time. Also, it was a hot day, and when I asked how to use the air conditioner in the room, rather then just pleasantly give me the remote for it, I had to hear a comment about it being too early in the summer for air conditioning. The room was advertised with an air conditioner, so not sure why it was necessary to make that comment, as if I asked for something wrong. And the shower was not very convenient to use. Other than that, it was fine. "

"This was a wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel and surrounds, the type of village you envision in a small greek community. The hotel had tradtional atmosphere, an beautiful porch area and was just off the square. My only grievance was how uncomfortable the mattresses were. I had a hard time getting comfortable and woke up sore from how hard the bed was."
