"We loved our week staying at this charming property on the lower slopes of Mt Etna. This was a return visit for myself and my wife who stayed at the Old Winery 5 years ago, but this time we enjoyed the space and relaxed atmosphere with our twin boys who loved exploring the huge garden in particular. "This place is even more charming than the photos. The manager, Fabrizio, met us at the house and showed us around. The view from every angle is of Mt. Etna or the sea....gorgeous! There were fresh flowers in vases and fresh water in the fridge. Plus, we went down the road to the store Fabrizio owns and we tried local meats, cheese and wine and bought food for the next day. Fabrizio helped arrange a guided tour of Mt Etna, and shared many other food and activity suggestions as well."

"We were looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind, away from the madding crowd, to enjoy good food, sunshine and relaxation. This property ticked all the boxes. It is very remote (which is what we wanted) but the nearest shop or civilisation of any kind is several miles away so definitely not recommended without a car. For a peaceful and beautiful location though, it is highly recommended."
