Welcome to the historic Carl Butler House! This unique home was designed in 1921 by one of Manhattan's most prolific architects, Henry B. Winter. It is located across from City Park on Manhattan's most exclusive street and is routinely recognized by guests as one of if not the favorite short-term rental in Manhattan! Here are a few things you can expect from your stay:
✔ Gourmet Kitchen with high-end appliances
✔ Large living room for gatherings
✔ Enjoy coffee on your front porch and look out across City Park
✔ Walk one block to Aggieville/KSU/Downtown
✔ Multiple large smart TVs
✔ The BEST hospitality in town!
Stylistically, the structure has a mix of Prairie and Arts and Crafts elements, including very light cream ("Swiss Coffee") stucco siding with dark reddish-brown brick and cross-beam accents with a red Spanish tile roof. All the brickwork on the house and backyard fence is elaborate, interesting, and very unique.
In the mornings, you can walk to Manhattan's favorite coffee and breakfast shops (if you don't want to take advantage of the breakfast nook off the kitchen with a full coffee bar), in the afternoons, you are less than 150 feet from the tennis courts on City Park, and in the evenings, the dining room, front porch, and living room are all great gathering places!
You will have the entire home to yourselves! There is a carriage house over the garage that is also on Vrbo and can be booked separately if available.
