The farm house was very clean and cozy and a quiet place to stay. Ranger and Barbara were very kind and responsive to any questions and needs that we had. A great home base for all of the activities the area had to offer. Thank you!
Great place to stay and hang out. First night had a lot of cows near the house and was a little noisy but next day they were moved and was much quieter!
This clean, cute, functional farmhouse was perfect for my family. The owner was easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any inquiries. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone needing a peaceful getaway or anyone visiting family or friends in the Gallatin Valley area.
A beautiful property quite cozy big enough for five or six but perfect for my wife and me. Clean. Excellent host even nicer in person. Convenient to Bozeman and three forks. Lovely experience all around. No real negatives
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the angus ranch house. It was clean and well supplied. Very comfortable beds and an accommodating hostess made for a lovely stay. Being a little ways from Bozeman May seem inconvenient but it offered a more peaceful and idyllic feel to our time there. We recommend!
The house was super clean and the location is quiet. Somehow I missed the fact that there is no AC and being a Georgia boy I was a little nervous, but even in July the house was comfortable and at night with the windows open it was very cool and enjoyable. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. I would highly recommend Angus Ranch House to anybody.
Barbra was so helpful and quick to respond to our needs! The house was nice and clean and a great quiet location. We needed to keep our gear in the garage past checkout and come back for it that afternoon. She was so kind to let us do this! Thank you! We would definitely stay there again!
The property was just as described, it brought back memories of growing up on a farm.
The host responded quickly to any questions that we had and made a point to meet with us in person.
If you want to get away from the city and want a peaceful getaway this is the place.
If you love sitting on an upper deck watching an amazing sunset, you'll love this place! It is beautifully updated, charming and peaceful! The kitchen is well-equipped! The host and hostess are delightful folks at the ready for any questions or needs.
Perfect spot to stay for a rural feel. Spacious home with farm animals surrounding the fenced yard. Home is very clean, organized and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. Location was good for easily getting in and out of Bozeman and about an hour from Big Sky. We definitely recommend this home.
We were visiting our son and wanted to stay out of Bozeman proper. The drive to Bozeman was quick. The host was friendly and super responsive. We loved watching the cows. My husband worked from the house a couple days and things went pretty smooth for him. The spot was close to some other fun local places. We would stay there again!
This was a great property! The location was convenient to all the wedding events plus hiking and time in Bozeman. Area dining and beer experiences were great. The beds were very comfortable with cozy cotton bedding. We used the kitchen mostly for breakfast but it looked like a well stocked kitchen- pots, pans, cutlery, dishes. We loved the cattle- mooing at us as we stood on the deck. All around lovely house in a quiet spot. We would stay here again!
My husband adult son stayed at the farmhouse for several days during a move/transition out of college dorm and into a house. They enjoyed the property very much and loved being in the middle of the farm. The cows are awesome!!
We travel around the area, working in seed potato fields across Montana. This is the nicest place we have had the crew, ever. Close to the fields, although for most that won't be the best part, but the views are phenomenal. The house was easy to keep clean and is extremely functional. The host was always responsive and ready to help should any issues arise. We stayed for just over a month while working, and it was always a treat to come back to this home for the night.
Would recommend for anyone looking for a simple, easy, and professionally run rental.
My husband, nine year-old son and I stayed here for 10 days and could not have had a better experience. This charming, quiet and peaceful home located on a beautiful cattle farm was in itself a remarkable experience. We were relatively short driving distances from everything we wanted to visit: Yellowstone's west entrance, white water rafting, horseback riding, shopping , dining, zip-lining...we did it all and had this great little ranch house to come home to. The hosts were very accommodating, easy to get in touch with and eager to help all while respecting our privacy. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!
We came to Bozeman for a wedding, and chose this listing due to the location and the style of the home (we wanted to feel like we were enjoying a real Montana experience.) The grounds and home were beautifully taken care of, and the instructions for check in/out were great. There were several useful notes about local dinjng, etc. As mentioned, it IS an old farmhouse with steep stairs to reach the bedrooms- but it made it fun! Thanks to Barbara for helping us enjoy the time spent.
The entire property was exceptional. You can tell the attention to detail offered by our awesome host. The home appeared recently renovated. Everything was new and hardly been used. The rules were posted and followed. Our adult children loved the cattle and goats on the nearby grazing area. Even cattle marked 1305, which reminded me of a cow I once cared for as a workhand brought great memories. My son lost the stare down contests with 1305, which we found humorous.
Access to the home is on all paved farming roads and while a little hidden back from the road, the trees kept the home cool even with 90 plus degree heat. As my wife said as we departed early morning, we were going to miss the green and the cool mornings, compared to the 110 heat in Texas. Will miss the mountains.
Bathroom was well stocked with very heavy bath towels and signs posted about flushing unapproved items well marked out because home is on septic system. Water tasted cold and crisp.
Great communication by owner, even when we need clarification, it was quickly responded to again.
Kudos to our host who made our stay stress free as we were attending a family remembrance. We would rent again if we are in Belgrade.
