Unfortunately, my room had no hot water (though they tried to turn it on??) and the wifi might as well be nonexistent. The Indian menu options at the restaurant are very tasty, however. "A really lovely lodge in the best location in Cape Mclear, it had the most amazing chef and restaurant and lovely gardens. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s also felt very safe. The room was a little tired and bathroom needed to be a little cleaner, however this is a country that has very limited resources so it was always going to be different to a western and more developed experience. It’s definitely the place to stay in this beautiful corner of Malawi! "
