"We received a warm welcome upon arrival from Kenny and his staff, We had a day a Chester races planned and were struggling to get a taxi so Kenny stepped in to save the day and kindly took us in his car. The rooms were clean, tidy and had tea and coffee making facilities and The En Suite bathroom was well equipped and a decent size with plenty of room in the shower.The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise outside so a good nights sleep is assured. "Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. "A few toothing problems upon arrival, but the host sorted. The room was generally comfy and clean, but could do with abit of TLC to make look better. Radiator wasn't consistently working, which was not nice in the morning. "

"Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....
