"What a delightful place! It fit our needs to a tee, and more. You can tell that Ben and his family have put their heart and soul into this place. I took photos of a number of things they've done to determine if I could include them in my own house. At no time did I have a need to contact Ben because it seems as though he anticipated any question I might have and I had the answer in front of me before I had formulated a question. We all thought the Sleep Number beds were great!"

"I am so grateful to have found this sweet place to stay in McCall, Idaho! It was clean, cozy and had all the amenities we needed for our winter break vacation. I've worked in hospitality for over a decade and can honestly say this place is a rare gem. The rooms are spacious, the bedding was super comfortable and the decor is inviting and made us feel instantly "at home".A big plus was being able to invite our family members over - including their fur babies - and have the space to enjoy home cooked meals, plays games and watch movies together (versus being in a hotel room for the week).Kathleen was easy to communicate with and I can tell takes pride in offering a comfortable and affordable place. "What a perfect spot that is walkable to all the things in downtown McCall. Its charm, charm, charm from the minute you walk in. There is so much space for all the things. And all the things are available- down to extra phone charging cords. The bed was so comfortable & it was one of the first times I didn’t miss my own bed. This has been by far our favorite spot in McCall as a place to stay. Property manager was very responsive & ensured we were taken care of. Definitely will be back again!"

You can check my history and ratings as a guest - I am a husband, father and CEO of a small company and we have always used VRBO with good results.We booked this property and paid in full September 29, 2024 for an arrival on December 29, 2024. I received all the confirmations from VRBO, including the "Here are you keys" email on December 26, with the email saying "the owner will email you the keys on your arrival day".Arrival day - Sunday, December 29 - no communication and no response from the owner, including the phone number provided and messaging through the VRBO app.4pm on a Sunday in a resort town on New Year's week - no place to stay for my family. VRBO put me on hold for 30 mins, then I spoke to a junior person in the Philippines - no escalation or urgency.After 2.5 hours on the phone, Sunday evening, received One Key credits and left to my own devices to try and find a place to stay. It's Sunday, 5pm on a holiday week in a resort town, and the credit they give you is for the amount you booked an advanced reservation for 2 months ago.We ended up staying in a motel for the week. No kitchen, laundry or other things a family booking a condo 2 months in advance was planning for (cooking vs eating out).This was an alarming wake up call for our family.At a minimum, this owner is a terrible person, as we saw them at the unit! They obviously just decided to use their property for the holiday."
