Nice and quiet

It’s a quite spot to enjoy a weekend! Went to the beach for a beach day and enjoyed watching the waves. Loved that I could bring our dog! But he’s a flight risk so I didn’t love that there wasn’t a fence. Great time had by all.

Great Get Away

We rented three nights to see the ocean and enjoy the coast. We had a wonderful time. The home is well equipped for a family or two couples. We took day outings of the area and enjoyed the home evenings and mornings. Terrific neighborhood and location.

Reviewer Comments: excellent as always, however a few issues with cleaning. couldn't vacuum because the vacuum wasn't working. some supplies were not sufficient for a weeks stay, i.e. soap and toilet tissue (less than 1/3 roll in both bathrooms, no refills.)

Long awaited family vacation

Sea Haven was a wonderful foggy remote getaway for our family. A comfortable space for all ages to spread out and chill (tv, games, spa, reading while listening to the ocean), explore the coast, and even do a little necessary work. I was worried about how the beds would be given dated furnishings, but we all slept comfortably. Management answered a question promptly and all was as described. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and were pleasantly surprised at the offerings of the local grocery/hardware.

New England style cottage on California’s North Coast

My family of four enjoyed our four night stay at Sea Haven. The home reminded me a bit of New England beach cottages. It’s very bright during the day thanks to all the windows and skylights. The WiFi, Direct TV, kitchen, laundry machine, and heater worked great. We didn’t try the hot tub.

Amazing view!

This place has an amazing view! But in addition to that it is very roomy, has a lovely breakfast nook, and has cute bedrooms. Super clean and family friendly. We loved the hot tub, relaxing on the deck, and sitting in the breakfast nook. The beach nearby is windy, but we went twice in the summer. Be warned, the water is very cold (although kids didn’t seem to mind). Great place to bring a kite, and it was nice that the beach is private access, with hardly anyone there. We loved this spot!

Seriously everything you will need. Amazing view. And very private.

Kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget you may need. Blender, toaster, mixer, food processor, coffee maker. It’s all there. There are a ton of extra blankets and sheets. We arrived to see gorgeous landscaping and stained glass windows. It’s clean and cozy and stocked with games and movies. The couch is a pull out sofa. There is even a little potty seat in the master bathroom. The view of the stars is one I’ve never seen. Completely in polluted by lights from cities. Do yourself the favor and take a beach horseback ride a few miles down at Ross ranch. You will not be disappointed. You’ll ride on the same private beach this home gives you gated access to. There is a small grocery store just a couple of miles down the road as well. When we arrived the home was filled with fresh flowers that were cut from the property. Such a sweet touch. There’s a gorgeous little garden in the back to explore. The lot is lined with trees that have been topped to enjoy the view. Can’t even hardly tell there are neighbors. Michelle the property manager was helpful and even called to check in on us to see if we had arrived yet. It’s private and secluded. The home is within 10 miles of point arena lighthouse. They have amazing walking trails to check out. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us.

Home away from home

If you want to feel instantly at home, then this is the place to stay. Very cozy. Has everything you need. A quiet location with a fabulous view of the ocean. Lots of windows. The deck and hot tub were our favorites. Home was very clean. Only drawback was the coffee maker didn't work but we made do. Stayed two nights with my daughter and her mother in law for a girls getaway and this home was perfect with 3 bedrooms! The garden was lovely and having a wood fire at night was enchanting. We would definitely stay here again as we didn't want to leave!! If I owned this home, I wouldn't leave.

Our stay at Irish Beach Sea Haven brought peaceful relaxation in a very well appointed home. Perfect for a family visit, this home is spacious and comfortable indoors and has terrific outdoor living as well. We spent a lot of time on the deck with ocean view and really enjoyed the sunset hot tub! Access to the private beach was convenient and time spent at the ocean-side was everything we had hoped for. Felt like my own place.

I traveled with my mother and sister for the first time. The place was equipped for everything you could ask for. The kitchen was ideal for preparing wonderful meals. The greatroom was quite welcoming. I would love to go back when it’s colder out to snuggle in that cozy room. The view from the deck and hot tub was just breathtaking. I didn’t want to leave. I’ve stayed in quite a few VRBO’s, but, this is right up there on my favorites, must visit again list. Thank you so much for letting me stay!

Disappointed

After a long, windy drive (do NOT take Mountain View Road) we wanted to relax in the hot tub but it was not hot. I called the "contact number" given and she said "I'm just the house cleaner. I'll call the hot tub guy." No one ever showed up so I turned it up to 104 and we left for dinner. It was hot later (thank goodness!) but why wasn't it hot when we got there? The other thing we really wanted at the chilly coast was a real fireplace. Wood and newspaper were provided but we couldn't find any kindling. We tried for hours to get the big logs to burn with the newspaper provided and could never get it going. The house is very outdated but the view is great and the neighborhood was quiet.

The Sea Haven House was wonderful.

We had a delightful stay and thoroughly enjoyed all that the Sea Haven House had to offer. Everything was in good working order and the home is beautifully designed. There are wonderful views from multiple locations and the gardens were an added bonus. We would return without hesitation.
