"We capped off our road trip to travel the length of the Pacific Coast Highway by staying at the Forest Suite by Mendocino for 4 nights. "The view from the swan room was beautiful. The in-room hot tub and fireplace were amazing amenities that we utilized a lot during our stay. Miren was an amazing host! She made sure we had fresh firewood every day and was very responsive. Whale Watch Inn is truly a gem along the coast! "

"My friends and I stayed for a weekend to attend another friend's wedding. The place was clean and exactly what we needed. The only downside was that the bed off of the kitchen only had a curtain between the bed and the kitchen, but that was clearly known form the description of the property in the advertisement. All in all a good place to stay with friends for a weekend."

"The Mendocino art center is wonderful. We loved being in town and so near the ocean. We loved our little apartment. The only thing I would request is that the outdoor lights are super bright, for them to be turned off at night. They’re not gentle lights. They are very bright, LED blue lights. Even though we had curtains, the lights came in from all around and made the room pretty bright at night. We stayed for two nights, and both mornings around 5:00 AM, somebody banged around in the shed below...

"When booking I didn't realize this space was situated within the Mendocino Art Center. Hence the "rewarding" experience. My husband and I loved being in the energies of creative processes. If it sounds busy, might be loud (?), it only felt alive, even in the silence of the days when we were the only people on the grounds. We came for nature and food, but were gifted so much more. Additionally, we ended up staying in Unit 6, a very spacious apartment with enormous windows in every room opening...

"My sisters and I had the opportunity to spend some time away. We all love to cook. We did not understand from the listing that the kitchen did not have a regular stove and oven. There was equipment that functioned as such, but it wasn't equipment we were acquainted with and required us to adjust our recipes and figure out how it all worked.
